Brian Jordan is a former Naval Officer and Aviator, with the majority of his time spent at Naval Air Station Patuxent (Pax) River, MD. While at Pax River, he served and supported Air Test and Evaluation Squadron One, Joint Precision Approach and Landing Systems, Dual Band Decoy, and numerous other programs. Prior to his time in the Navy, Mr. Jordan worked as a chemist for an environmental firm.
Along with his military experience he has over 20 years’ experience as an inventor and entrepreneur. After forming Jordan Research and Development in 2013, he has created, developed, and marketed many products and holds several patents. He has worked with several non-profits and sat on numerous boards. Mr. Jordan worked with Mr. Tommy Luginbill at Techport, serving as the Director of Internship Programs. His technical expertise along with writing grants and collaborating will help Southern Maryland Loves You reach higher levels. In addition to his professional work, he has been active in the community, serving as a youth mentor, football and lacrosse coach, and tutor.
Mr. Jordan is a graduate of Virginia Military Institute, with a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics. He is in the process of completing his MBA from Northcentral University.
